Off the top of my head play-dough recipie

playdough at school

1/3 cup of regular ol’ salt

1 cup of flour plus 4 table spoons

2 teaspoons of cream of tartar

1 cup of water

2 table spoons of oil

Coloring – use liquid watercolors for vibrant colors

Basic instructions ( trust your intuition)

add more oil if it is too dry

add more flour if it is too wet

add more salt if it is not sticking properly and expect clumping

mix everything together – in a sauce pan

place on high to medium heat while mixing for 2 minutes or less

mix with your hands after taking it off the burner and let the dough cool on wax paper

The kids like to play with it when it is warm as well

Add drops of peppermint, lavender, or other essential oil if you like after heat is off

Hope it works!
